Hong Kong prize is awarded to a wide range of fields and activities to honor those who have made outstanding contributions in advancing the development of Hong Kong. These include the prestigious Hong Kong Literary Award, the Hong Kong Arts Prize, the Hong Kong International Development Prize, and the HK Global Development Prize.
The prize includes a cash award of HK$10,000 and the opportunity to present their ideas to key stakeholders in the development sector. It is organized by Generocity, an organization that works to shape Hong Kong’s role in international development efforts and support those in need around the world.
During the 2023 Hang Lung Mathematics Awards (“HLMA”), Kyan CHEUNG Ka-Hin and Ethan SOH Jon-Yi from Harrow International School Hong Kong received the Gold Award for their research report titled “On the Properties of the Semigroup Generated by the RL Fractional Integral.” Other winners included MOK Chun-Hei and WONG Hei from S.K.H Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School and TAM Hei-Tung from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Their research papers showcased their innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
The 8th Inter-school Competition of Study Projects on Hong Kong History and Culture has come to a close with a prize presentation ceremony. This year’s competition has been co-organized by the Museum of History and the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture with the aim of enhancing students’ knowledge of the city’s heritage, encouraging them to actively learn outside the classroom and explore the relationship between historical developments and changes in society.
Winners of the HK Film Awards (HKFA) were announced on Sunday evening at an awards ceremony in Wan Chai. HKFA is an annual film award organized by the Hong Kong Film Workers Association Ltd, and is voted on by members of professional film bodies.
A total of 73 films were submitted for consideration in this year’s HKFA, and the jury selected 13 films as award winners. The award aims to promote cinematic innovation and promising Asian filmmakers by offering branding services, including post-production support services.
